Deliver individualized speech therapy focusing on areas including articulation, language skills, fluency, and swallowing disorders.

Coordinate with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to develop unified care strategies.

Educate patients and families to nurture progress beyond clinical environments.

Handle sporadic inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a continuum of care throughout each patient's recovery journey.

Document all actions promptly and accurately in alignment with regulatory and organizational standards.

Engage in ongoing education and professional collaboration to stay at the forefront of speech-language pathology advancements.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 30 days of employment.

Solid understanding and application of evidence-based treatment methods for patients of all ages, proficient in addressing developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Strong interpersonal communication abilities with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Capability to adapt therapeutic techniques to accommodate varying cultural and linguistic needs.

Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and compliance standards.
