Assistant Branch Manager

Primary Job Purpose: Assists the Branch Manager with the day-to-day operations of the branch. Performs a variety of duties, specializing in sales and service of the financial needs of branch customers. Hours of Work: Typical hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. With management responsibility, potential hours on Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm may be required to cover staffing shortages. Work Location: 2037 S 17th Street, Lincoln, NE 68502 Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Assist with customers transactions, account research and handle any complaints/concerns. Responsible for follow-up calls, Contact Us emails, and Banno Chats, as needed. Manage risk and stay informed on fraud trends. Responsible for branch reporting. Reporting includes, but is not limited to: CIP audits, daily cash balancing review and follow-up with errors/offages, monthly teller summaries. Open new accounts and process any additional requests as needed. Assist in payroll processing, PTO and Time-Off Approvals for tellers. Assist with disciplinary action/performance write-ups and security violations. Oversee completion of Onboarding packet with new hires. Assist with interviewing new applicants for hire (as needed). Assist with providing feedback or writing annual performance review. Facilitate/participate in monthly/quarterly branch meetings. Outside business calls with or without Business Solutions. External presentations to businesses when needed. Physical branch responsibilities include handling building requests and tenant requests (if applicable). Engage in community involvement. Other duties may be assigned. Job Qualifications To succeed in this role, the individual must fulfill each performance objective and primary responsibility satisfactorily.
