Quality Coordinator- Reflex Part of Nefab Santa Ana

Quality Coordinator Location: Santa Ana, CA. Reporting to Site Manager. Salary Range: $25.00-$30.00. Main Responsibilities Make incoming inspections and keep records (raw material or finished goods) Create new quality and QSS documents Approve new items or new product introductions and perform the FAI Make the discrepant material report for manufactured or traded products in NICS, send rejection report to purchasing department in case of discrepancies on traded products, identify nonconforming products Work with production to identify and resolve quality issues Verify inspections completed by fellow production personnel Provide training: acceptance/rejection criteria, released of first production pieces, in process and final inspections, measurement instruments, divulgate quality alerts, “on hold” area, or any other assigned Support the management of customer complaints (e.g., coordinate segregations of product, if necessary, make quality alerts and provide training) and SCARs (supplier corrective action request) Adhere to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Policies and Procedures Other duties as needed Profile University Degree (B.S. in Systems Engineering preferred or equivalent to experience) Minimum 2 years in Quality Assurance Languages Fluent in English, both written and verbal Bilingual in Spanish a plus Skills And Competences Decision making Analysis and judgmentInitiative and responsibility Interpretation of drawings Measuring devices Knowledge of product and packaging materials Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
