Qualifications

• Experience with dental radiography and X-ray equipment
• Strong understanding of dental anatomy and patient anatomy
• Knowledge of infection control practices and protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with dental systems and dental coding
• Experience with pediatric and adult patients
• Ability to work with patients of all ages and needs
• Familiarity with Epic and other dental software systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dental assisting: 1 year (Required)
• X-Ray Certification (Required)
• Victorville, CA 92392(Required)
• Registered Dental Assistant - RDA (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the dentist and hygienist in providing exceptional patient care
• This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and organized dental environment while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction
• Assist the dentist and hygienist with patient care, including preparing the operatory for procedures and ensuring all equipment is properly sterilized
• Prepare patients for treatment, including taking vital signs and explaining procedures
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including X-rays and treatment plans
• Assist with dental radiography, including taking and developing X-rays
• Support the dentist with prosthodontics, endodontics, and other specialized procedures
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of dental anatomy and patient anatomy
• Utilize infection control practices to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients
• Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist or hygienist
