Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional in school settings or similar roles
- Proficiency in basic sign language for effective communication with students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications a plus
Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional assistance to students under the direction of certified teachers
- Use basic sign language to support classroom engagement and communication
- Offer individualized student support as needed throughout the school day
- Reinforce learning concepts and accommodate different learning styles
- Assist with classroom organization, lesson preparation, and behavior management
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate with educational staff and follow outlined programs or plans
