About the Role:

Internal Medicine Associates Ltd is looking for a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice in Chesterfield, MO. Responsibilities:

Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software

Answer and route incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to patient inquiriesMaintain and update accurate patient demographic and medical records

Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and communication between patients and clinical staff

Manage front desk operations including filing, faxing, and handling correspondence

Requirements:

Prior experience as a medical receptionist with knowlege of diabetic drugs or in a healthcare front office setting preferred.

Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and EMR/EHR systems

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare training a plus

Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude
