RN Acute Care Oncology

Position UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hospital Central, Colorado Springs - Oncology Patient Care Unit. Schedule Full Time, 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Nights. Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 per hour, dependent on relevant experience. Onsite role only. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved RN program if less than 3 years experience. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). 6 months RN experience. ONS certification: 6 months for new hires, 1 year for new grads. BLS: American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuer. Card must be valid at start and through 60 days of hire. Responsibilities Provide top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Utilize multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. Precept and mentor newcomers to healthcare and UCHealth. Contribute to secure safety and quality at point of care in acute care (Med‑Surg) units of moderate to high acuity.
