Overview

The SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for developing business solutions for Microsoft SharePoint applications by gathering and analyzing a client's business processes, requirements, managing requirements, planning projects, and designing and performing testing.

Responsibilities

Participate in requirements gathering sessions with client business units and IT personnel
• Plan, conduct, document, and direct the analysis of complex business problems and processes
• Translate business requirements to functional requirements
• Create, update, and maintain site content
• Meet with the business subject matter experts to ensure requirements meet expectations
• Conduct functional testing of the system.
• Assist in testing application to ensure that the application meets the functional requirements
• Maintain and enhance existing applications to accommodate changes in the business processes
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; BS in Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of individuals and/or groups
• Ability to work and communicate with vendors about needs and requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate with fellow employees in an advising and supportive role
• Ability to travel when needed
