Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care including aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, NAVA, and airway management
• Operate Hamilton and Servo ventilators efficiently
• Assist with intrahospital transport
• Collaborate with a team of 8 RTs per shift in the NICU or PICU setting
• Ensure compliance with established protocols and charting using EPIC

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Minimum 2 years experience in PICU or level 4 NICU
