Location: Houston, Oklahoma City, Denver, Dallas, Austin Technology Consulting (Sector Transformation) – Oil & Gas Production Accounting Manager EY Technology Consulting seeks a Manager to help Oil & Gas clients drive technology‑enabled transformation by improving operational and finance outcomes through process, data, and platform modernization. This role focuses on Production Accounting solutions such as Quorum Energy Components (EC) and ProCount. Your Key Responsibilities Lead Production Accounting workstreams within sector transformation engagements, focusing on Quorum Energy Components and related platforms. Provide expert guidance on Production Accounting processes and solutions, driving fit‑to‑standard decisions and translating business needs into clear, deliverable scope and acceptance criteria. Lead the allocation network approach in Production Accounting Applications, governing configuration, documentation, and validation across environments. Direct and govern analysis and optimization of Energy Components and related platforms, establishing standards, ensuring consistency, and resolving data‑driven defects. Lead and oversee integrations between Production Accounting Applications and upstream/downstream systems. Lead data migration efforts from legacy production accounting systems, owning reconciliation strategies and stakeholder approvals. Own the plan to outline, document, and test regulatory reporting and pressure compensation processes. Provide leadership on Prior Period Adjustments (PPA) including impact analysis and stakeholder alignment. Oversee development and delivery of role‑based training and enablement for business users. Lead delivery governance, including milestones, dependencies, RAID management, quality reviews, and executive‑level stakeholder communications. Coach and review the work of consultants and senior consultants, mentoring teams and supporting client relationships. Skills And Attributes For Success Strong expertise in Oil & Gas Production Accounting / hydrocarbon accounting. Hands‑on experience with Quorum Energy Components (EC), ProCount, or other commercial Production Accounting applications. End‑to‑end understanding of the hydrocarbon chain of custody. Demonstrated leadership delivering complex transformation initiatives. Executive‑ready communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations, risks, and delivery trade‑offs. To Qualify for the Role Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 5 years professional experience in a large multi‑national organization. Progressive experience in consulting, industry, or a vendor environment leading delivery teams and client workstreams in Production Accounting modernization. Ideally, You'll Also Have Prior consulting experience serving Energy or Natural Resources clients. Experience leading integrations, data conversions, or regulatory reporting initiatives. Experience coaching teams and supporting delivery oversight. What We Offer Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
