Silverthin Assembler IHeadquarters - Preston, WA 98050OverviewSalary Range $21.00 - $23.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Education Level None Travel Percentage None Category ManufacturingDescriptionThe Silverthin Assembler 1 position is responsible for assembling assigned products to meet product specifications and quality standards.Essential FunctionsMeasure product pulled for assembly, perform visual inspection, and clean parts as needed.Load balls and take internal clearance measurements.Perform part marking as required with chemical or laser etching equipment.Deliver finished product for quality verification or shipment as required.Complete inspection reports and shop travelers as required.Perform basic math including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals to ensure product specifications are met.Read and interpret documents such as drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.CompetenciesKnowledge: Demonstrates the required technical skills and knowledge to perform the essential function of the position.Customer Focus: Consistently puts the internal/external customer first to meet customer commitments and responds promptly to customer needsReliability: Delivers expected results while demonstrating reliability, accountability and dependability and in all aspects of the positionTeamwork: Establishes and maintains effective relationships and works actively to resolve conflicts displaying a positive outlook and pleasant demeanor.Communication: Communicates clearly and effectively including good listening and effective interpersonal skills.QualificationsPhysical DemandsStrength Guideline: The employee must frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and rarely lift or move up to 70 pounds. Motion Parameters: The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision and Hearing: The employee is required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
