2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join their team. As a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor, you will be part of the Bottling Operations department supporting production teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: 2nd Shift Production Supervisor Location: Cincinnati, Ohio 45204 Hours: 3p-11:30p (50 hour work weeks) What's the Job? Provide leadership and guidance to production team members during the 2nd shift to ensure safety, productivity, and quality standards are met. Coordinate daily production activities, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency. Train, mentor, and evaluate employees to maintain high performance and compliance with safety and quality protocols. Manage inventory accuracy, conduct physical counts, and collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies. Support project execution, process enhancements, and special initiatives to drive continuous improvement across the shift. What's Needed? 2-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably in a high-speed bottling or packaging environment. Experience in training and developing team members within a manufacturing setting. Knowledge of safety, quality standards, and inventory management practices. What's in it for me?
