Quality Control Manager – Metal Fabrication – Base Salary to 120k/year – Burlington, NJ Our client is an established manufacturing organization specializing in precision metal fabrication and finishing. The Quality Control Manager will oversee the execution and continuous improvement of quality activities across precision sheet metal fabrication and powder coating operations. This hands‑on, shop‑floor leadership role is responsible for maintaining the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System (QMS), overseeing inspection activities, managing nonconforming material and corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and applicable quality standards. The Quality Control Manager will supervise quality inspection personnel and serve as the primary quality contact for production, engineering, suppliers, and customers. Responsibilities Manage and continuously improve the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System (QMS), including procedures, documentation, quality records, audits, nonconformances, and corrective actions. Oversee incoming inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection, and First Article Inspection (FAI) across manufacturing and finishing operations. Ensure manufactured products meet customer requirements, engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T requirements, traceability standards, and inspection criteria. Oversee powder coating quality and process controls, including pretreatment, curing, coating film thickness, adhesion, appearance, inspection, and defect resolution. Manage nonconformance reports (NCRs), root cause analysis, material disposition, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and corrective action processes. Supervise quality inspectors and support quality inspection activities on the manufacturing floor. Maintain quality records, calibration systems, inspection equipment records, and quality KPI reporting, including scrap, rework, yield, and customer complaints. Serve as the primary customer and supplier quality contact for audits, quality issues, supplier performance, customer complaints, and corrective actions. Qualifications 7+ years of quality control experience in precision sheet metal manufacturing Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001: 2015 and Quality Management Systems (QMS) Experience performing or overseeing incoming, in-process, final, and First Article Inspections (FAI) Proficiency reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T Experience using precision inspection and measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, and coating thickness gauges Knowledge of powder coating processes and quality standards, including pretreatment, curing, film thickness, adhesion, and coating inspection Experience with nonconforming material, NCRs, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and CAPA Experience with ERP/MRP systems and electronic quality records Hands‑on quality control experience within a manufacturing or shop‑floor environment Compensation: Base salary in the 100k - 120k/year range Health benefits #INDALL L Location: Burlington, NJ #J-18808-Ljbffr AllSearch Staffing Group
