VIVIFY is taking HOGTM and Flying PigTM, our hydrogen power platforms, out of the lab and into manufacturing. We're looking for a Design Engineer who turns engineering intent into Creo models and drawings a manufacturer can build from without calling us with questions. Your work won't sit in a CAD folder. It will become working hardware delivering near-zero-emission power, and you'll see it come off the line.

VIVIFY is a fast-growing hydrogen power company engineering self-supporting, near-zero-emission energy systems, built in America and designed for behind-the-meter deployment. Our flagship, HOGTM (Hydrogen Oxygen GeneratorTM), is the heart of our hydrogen energy platform. Flying PigTM, our containerized power platform, is engineered to scale modularly toward a 1MW rating. We're making the leap from fabrication to manufacturing, and the people who join now will put their fingerprints on the final product.

About the Role

You'll work side by side with our Chief Engineer and engineering team in our Delray Beach R&D lab, building the Creo models, drawings, and documentation behind every system we make, then carrying them all the way into production. Our CAD platform is PTC Creo. This isn't a back-office drafting role. We want someone who owns the accuracy of everything they release and has the confidence to say, "That won't build, and here's why."

What You'll Do

Build the Models: Design and Documentation

•     Build and maintain Creo part and assembly models for HOGTM, Flying PigTM, and supporting systems

•     Produce 2D production drawings with GD&T, ready for machine shops and contract manufacturers

•     Develop P&IDs, system schematics, and layout drawings for gas, fluid, and power systems

•     Produce renderings and visuals for design reviews, customers, and investors

Take It to Production: Manufacturing Transition

•     Apply design-for-manufacturing and assembly principles as designs move from prototype to production

•     Create and maintain bills of materials and keep them aligned with purchasing and inventory

•     Own revision control: drawing numbering, release, and engineering change management

Get It Approved: Plan Sets and Coordination

•     Assemble plan sets and documentation packages for customers, outside engineering firms, and regulatory review

•     Coordinate with outside engineering firms that review and seal drawings for permitting

Keep It All Running: Across the Role

•     Champion a safety-first lab: Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, and EHS requirements, every time

•     Flag drawing errors, deficiencies, or non-conformances the same day you find them

•     Keep the team in the loop through our weekly meeting, daily report, and direct escalation as needed

•     Route procurement requests for parts, materials, tools, and vendor engagements through our established process before any order or commitment is made

What You Bring

Must-Haves

•     Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related engineering field

•     3 to 7 years of professional design experience in PTC Creo (Pro/ENGINEER counts)

•     Production drawings with GD&T per ASME Y14.5 that have been built from by a shop or manufacturer

•     Experience modeling and documenting large, multi-level assemblies with BOMs

•     Experience taking at least one design from prototype into production

•     Authorized to work in the United States

•     Valid driver's license

•     Ability to pass a background check

•     Able to work on-site in Delray Beach, FL, including overtime as needed

Bonus Points

•     Windchill or another product data management (PDM) system

•     Creo Schematics, Piping, or Cabling, or other P&ID and schematic experience

•     Pressure systems, gas handling, fluid systems, or power generation equipment

•     Rendering experience (Creo Render Studio, KeyShot, or similar)

•     Familiarity with equipment codes and standards such as NFPA 2 and NFPA 70

•     Startup or small-team experience where you owned the full drawing package
