We are looking for Merchandisers in the York area. Pay: Approx 4 - 6 hours per week* (however likely to increase during busy periods) £15.07 p/h PAYE including holiday pay. Start date: Start within 2 weeks after onboarding and training with long‑term, ongoing work available. Working hours: Flexible working across Monday to Sunday with some fixed days – Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Use of a car is essential. Ideal location: York, United Kingdom, YO25 Territory covering: York (you will be required to cover stores within 15 miles of here) and surrounding. What You’ll Be Doing: Visit a mix of high street, grocery, and convenience stores to complete merchandising tasks, audits, and set up point‑of‑sale (POS) materials. Navigate fixtures (e.g. gondolas, bays, shelving) confidently. Merchandise products in line with agreed planograms. Ensure as much stock as possible is on shelves to help drive sales and keep displays looking great. Arrange and top up products on shelves and displays so they’re eye‑catching and easy for customers to find. Negotiate extra display space to help boost sales where possible. Perform stock moving and lifting as required. What we’re looking for: Experience in retail or merchandising, preferably with Boots, department stores or premium beauty chains. Availability Monday to Sunday, with fixed visits on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Reliable, adaptable and able to work independently. Confident talking to store staff and building good in‑store relationships. Take pride in their work. Own car and ability to carry promotional materials or small displays. Comfortable using a phone or tablet to complete reporting on our app, including sending clear photos and sharing useful feedback. As our Merchandiser you’ll get: Holiday pay.
