Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time assignment with mandatory holiday coverage required (either Thanksgiving Day or the day after, plus either Christmas Eve/Day or New Year's Eve/Day)

Highlights:

• 28-bed Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care Unit specializing in cardiac population
• Patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:4, with potential assignment to telemetry beds based on acuity
• Diverse cardiac case mix including STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery patients, and chest pain management
• Experience with critical cardiac drips required: Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
• Opportunity to work with a complex cardiac patient population in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Current Georgia RN license or compact state license with ability to obtain Georgia licensure
• Minimum 2 years of documented Progressive Care Unit or IMCU experience in a similar-sized facility
• Strong cardiac nursing background with demonstrated experience managing cardiac drips
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Professional badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
