Job Description
  • Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy strategies to support their functional objectives
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based practices to foster advancements in patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday activities
  • Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work alongside other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide well-rounded, holistic care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Share insights and techniques with patients and caregivers to promote progress outside of therapy sessions
  • Track and Modify Progress: Keep detailed records of patient outcomes and modify care plans as needed to stay aligned with their goals
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
  • Supported continuing education and post-graduate certifications
Certifications
  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
Skills
