- Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy strategies to support their functional objectives
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based practices to foster advancements in patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday activities
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work alongside other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide well-rounded, holistic care
- Educate Patients and Families: Share insights and techniques with patients and caregivers to promote progress outside of therapy sessions
- Track and Modify Progress: Keep detailed records of patient outcomes and modify care plans as needed to stay aligned with their goals
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
- Supported continuing education and post-graduate certifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
- A genuine passion for empowering others to achieve their maximum level of independence
- Strong, compassionate communication with patients and interdisciplinary teams
