RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts on HVTI-Stepdown unit with potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and ED
• Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM / 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (shifts may be variable to meet operational needs)
• Must work at least every other holiday
• 18 months of permanent experience in stepdown specialty required prior to travel
• 18 months of recent stepdown experience required (travel experience acceptable)
• PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required
• Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completion during orientation required
• Must achieve acceptable scores on both assessments (2 attempts maximum)
• One reference from manager, ANM, supervisor or director in specialty required
• Background check hits reviewed but no open cases accepted
• No license hits accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprints must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Badge pickup and onsite fingerprinting required prior to start date
• Average 6-15 hours of pre-start modules required (4 hours billable)
