Uni-Form Components is looking for a dependable, safety-focused Press Prep team member to support our Press operations. This position is responsible for preparing upcoming jobs by reviewing job cards, gathering and staging the correct tooling, and making sure the Press team has what they need before setup begins.

The goal of this role is to help keep production moving by staying ahead of the Press team and reducing setup and changeover time.

• Review upcoming job cards and production requirements.
• Identify and gather the correct tooling needed for each job.
• Clean tooling before and after use to ensure it is a ready for production and properly maintained.
• Inspect tooling during the cleaning and preparation process for damage, excessive wear, or other concerns.
• Stage and organize tooling so it is ready for the Press team.
• Assist with aligning and preparing tooling for upcoming press setups.
• Verify tooling and materials against job requirements before production begins.
• Coordinate with Press Operators and supervision on upcoming jobs and setup needs.
• Help locate, move, clean, and return tooling to the proper storage areas.
• Use overhead cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Keep tooling, tooling storage areas, and work areas clean, organized, and ready for production.
• Identify missing, damaged, or unavailable tooling and communicate issues before they impact production.
• Follow all safety procedures and required PPE standards.
• Perform other duties as needed to support Press operations.

• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Experience working around presses, tooling, metal forming, or heavy manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand job cards, measurements, and basic production requirements.
• Ability to identify and organize tooling based on job requirements.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to plan ahead and work with a sense of urgency.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with production teams.
• Willingness to work overtime as business needs require.
