Job Description As a Retail Territory Manager, you’re the heartbeat of Mondelēz’s in-store success. You lead the charge in delivering world-class Direct Store Delivery (DSD) execution—bringing beloved brands to life on shelves across your territory. From building strong customer relationships to driving flawless retail execution, you make every store visit count. This role blends strategy, agility, and people skills. How You Will Contribute Deliver monthly and quarterly sales targets by unlocking growth across assigned accounts using retail selling methodologies and executing customer plans. Manage and inspire a team of full-time and part-time Merchandisers from hiring and coaching to performance development. Ensure flawless rollout of sales priorities and merchandising programs in store. Provide expert on-site sales consultation to customers, securing incremental opportunities and executing HQ programs. Tune data‑driven sales strategies to store demographics and customer needs to fuel territory expansion. Build and maintain strong partnerships with store personnel to identify opportunities and deliver top‑tier service. Strategically deploy merchandisers and order writers to maximize shelf impact and sales volume. Oversee product ordering, display execution, and unsaleable management in collaboration with Full‑Time Order Writers (FTOWs). Design and execute a smart store schedule to strengthen relationships and drive results. Operate within Mondelēz International’s safety and operational guidelines. Requirements Be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence. High School Diploma or GED required; college degree highly preferred. A flexible work schedule is required, including weekends and holidays. 3‑5 years of selling experience, with a strong sales background and excellent understanding of business processes and systems. Ability to perform physical activities (frequent lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs., occasionally over 50 lbs., pushing, pulling, etc.). Successful completion of drug test, motor vehicle record check, and general background check. Mondelez International also offers a company vehicle, which includes a gas card and vehicle maintenance program. Territory Cities covered in this territory include but are not limited to: LIMA, OH; DECATUR, IN; PORTLAND, IN; VAN WERT, OH; SAINT MARYS, OH; WAPAKONETA, OH; CELINA, OH; OTTAWA, OH. Successful candidate must be located within 40 miles of the above cities. Salary and Benefits The base salary range is $56,200 to $77,275, depending on experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, the position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with potential for overachievement based on performance and company results. Benefits include health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education‑related programs, paid holidays, and vacation time. Many benefits have eligibility requirements and are subsidized or fully paid by the company. No relocation support is available.
