Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is based in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing advanced bedside nursing care, collaborating with physicians to develop individualized care plans, and overseeing the work of ancillary staff. The position requires a focus on evidence-based practices, effective communication, and team leadership to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan state license, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. A minimum of 2 years of ICU experience is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neuro surgical or open heart surgery settings, familiarity with TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, SCRN certifications, and travel experience are preferred.
- Additional Information: The position involves collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive ICU care, including patient assessments, medical order execution, and patient discharge planning. The role supports professional growth through ongoing education and mentoring.
