Travel Rn CcuTravel & Critical Care Unit (CCU) Cost Center 650 - 7:00PM to 7:00AM is responsible for delivering critical care to adult patients in a fast-paced 8-bed unit. The RN provides high-acuity nursing support, manages advanced therapies, and ensures accurate documentation in the assigned electronic system.Responsibilities:Deliver ICU-level nursing care for adults with complex, variable acuity and multi-system needs.Manage mechanical ventilation and titratable infusions, including sedation and vasoactive medications.Provide care for central venous catheters (CVC lines) and maintain safe line and access practices.Perform and support unit procedures, including bronchoscopy and chest tube management, as applicable.Coordinate bedside monitoring and interventions for critically ill patients, including care for tracheostomy and post-procedure support when needed.Document assessments, interventions, and patient response using MedHost to ensure continuity of care.Qualifications:Hold an active RN license with ICU/critical care experience.Maintain current ACLS and BLS certification.Maintain CPI certification for safe patient de-escalation and intervention.Demonstrate advanced proficiency with ventilators and critical drips (e.g., sedation and vasoactive therapies).Show competency in CVC line care and insertion-related post-procedure nursing responsibilities.Bring knowledge of critical care workflows and the ability to safely care for higher acuity ratios (typically 2:1, sometimes 3:1).Benefits & Growth:Expand ICU expertise through exposure to a wide variety of adult critical care diagnoses and therapies.Strengthen skills with advanced monitoring, ventilation management, and high-acuity medication titration.Build experience in a well-established team environment with consistent unit support.Benefits:Day 1 Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceTravel reimbursement for assignmentsPaid sick leave and additional valuable benefitsAccess to our $1,000 Inspire a Friend Referral ProgramWhy TactStaff?Choosing TactStaff means partnering with a team that understands the unique demands and rewards of ICU.
