CQV Engineer

Natera

Natera seeks a CQV Engineer II to provide technical support and maintenance for laboratory equipment and instrumentation in operations. The role includes troubleshooting, installation, qualification, and preventive maintenance of both simple and complex instruments while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 support for laboratory equipment troubleshooting and repair
Install new laboratory instruments and coordinate with teams for MEP requirements
Develop, execute, and revise equipment qualification and maintenance protocols
Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and routine servicing of all lab equipment
Document all service activities and maintain equipment tracking systems

Requirements

Level 2 troubleshooting expertise for laboratory equipment hardware and software
Experience with instrument installation, calibration, and maintenance procedures
Knowledge of qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) and regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, OSHA)
Ability to diagnose system failures and minimize equipment downtime
Strong written and verbal communication with Good Documentation Practices proficiency
Interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across laboratory teams
