Double Nickel Logistics LLC is hiring Class A CDL Drivers to join our growing transportation operation in Lexington, Kentucky.

We're offering a predictable 4 Days On / 4 Days Off schedule, weekly pay, modern 2026 sleeper tractors, benefits for eligible drivers, and consistent year-round work.

About the Position

As a Class A CDL Driver with Double Nickel Logistics, you will operate a tractor and trailer as part of our Amazon Freight Partner operation.

Our drivers transport freight between designated facilities using Amazon equipment and technology .

Our operation is drop-and-hook , allowing drivers to spend less time waiting at facilities and more time keeping freight moving.

You will be employed directly by Double Nickel Logistics LLC - not Amazon. We are a local transportation company and Official Amazon Freight Partner.

Your Schedule

Our drivers work a 4 Days On / 4 Days Off rotating schedule .

Shifts may include:

• Morning
• Afternoon
• Evening
• Overnight
• Weekdays
• Weekends

Drivers must be willing to work a flexible rotating schedule based on operational needs.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a Class 8 tractor and trailer
• Transport freight between designated facilities
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Complete required logs, reports and documentation
• Safely perform drop-and-hook operations
• Use handheld devices, GPS and company technology
• Communicate with dispatch and operations personnel
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA and company safety requirements
• Maintain a professional and safety-focused approach at all times
• Report equipment, safety or operational concerns promptly

What You'll Need

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL-A)
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to meet company and insurance requirements
• Ability to successfully complete required background and employment screening
• Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
• No current CDL suspension or revocation
• Ability to communicate effectively in English as required by federal regulations
• Ability to learn and use GPS, handheld devices and smartphone applications
• Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to safety
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays as required by the rotating schedule
