Licensed Therapist

Description For individuals licensed in Maryland as LCSW-C and LCPC, join our team and take advantage of a $3,000 sign-on bonus (for full time employees)! The Mental Health Therapist reports to the Clinical Director or Designee and functions independently to provide mental health therapy services for adults and children within the corresponding location marked above and within each one’s own license, abilities, and scope of practice. Responsibilities include establishing rapport with clients, providing clinically based therapy, maintaining productivity standards for full time status, diagnosing and treating clients ethically and appropriately, and referring clients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary. The Mental Health Therapist will attend all required meetings as scheduled and maintain collaborative and collegial working relations with all PCS staff, other community mental health providers, and clients. The Mental Health Therapist will carry out responsibilities in accordance with PCS policies and standards of practice and ensures compliance case management functions are performed in accordance with all state and federal regulations, while maintaining a high standard of professional conduct and ethics. Those with LMSW or LGPC, preferably with co-occurring experience, will require additional supervision.
