Corporate Counsel @ TGI Sport

As our Corporate Counsel for North and South America, you'll work alongside commercial leaders who are shaping the future of sports technology, media rights and sponsorship. You'll help structure major commercial deals, support innovative technology used by some of the world's biggest sporting organisations and provide pragmatic legal advice that enables the business to move forward with confidence.

Reporting directly to our Chief Legal Officer, you'll work across international commercial transactions, sports technology, media rights, sponsorship, procurement and corporate governance, becoming a trusted adviser to multiple businesses operating across the Americas.

Your Mission

If you enjoy solving commercial problems, influencing senior stakeholders and being part of the decisions rather than reviewing them afterwards, you'll have the opportunity to:

Become the trusted legal adviser for TGI Sport's operations across North and South America

Partner with senior commercial leaders to support major customer relationships, strategic negotiations and business growth

Draft, negotiate and advise on complex commercial and technology agreements across our Virtual Advertising, LED Operations and Media Rights businesses

Support high‑profile media rights acquisitions, sponsorship partnerships and commercial transactions

Provide dedicated legal support to TGI Wildcard US and IEG World, helping drive creative, sponsorship and commercial initiatives

Advise on procurement, corporate governance and company secretarial matters across multiple jurisdictions

Identify and manage legal risk while providing practical, commercially focused solutions that enable the business to move forward with confidence

Help shape the future of the legal function by improving legal processes, governance, legal technology and compliance across the region

Work closely with our Chief Legal Officer and collaborate with colleagues across London, Australia and the Americas on strategic global projects

Build trusted relationships across the business, influencing senior stakeholders and becoming a valued commercial partner rather than simply reviewing contracts.

What You'll Bring

Qualified US Attorney (New York, Illinois or another US State Bar)

Approximately 3–5 years' post‑qualification experience in private practice or an in‑house legal role

Strong commercial contracts background with experience drafting, negotiating and advising on complex agreements

Demonstrable experience supporting technology businesses or negotiating technology contracts

Excellent commercial judgement and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives

Outstanding communication skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders and explain complex legal issues in a practical, commercial way.

Experience within sports technology, media, broadcasting or digital businesses

Experience advising on media rights, sponsorship or commercial partnerships

Knowledge of data privacy, information security or regulatory compliance

Corporate governance or company secretarial experience

Experience working across international organisations and multiple jurisdictions
