Treatment Nurse (LPN or RN) At Pine Hill Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, we bring skilled nursing, therapy, and rehabilitation together with the warmth and comfort of true Southern hospitality. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Treatment Nurse to join our team. Job Summary The Treatment Nurse is responsible for providing expert skin and wound care to residents, focusing on prevention and treatment of skin disorders. They will follow established nursing Care Plans, making adjustments as needed, and assist with duties of the staff RN, LPN, or certified nursing assistants when required. Responsibilities Identify, manage, and treat specific skin disorders Perform evaluations using observation and inspection techniques Confer with the Care Planning Team in the development of the Care Plan Provide and document skin and wound treatments within established wound care protocol, monitoring ongoing treatments Monitor the use of preventive measures such as inspection, turning, and positioning Assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the needs of the resident, in accordance with established medical practices, regulatory guidelines, and facility policies and goals Provide information to residents and caregivers on prevention techniques and ways to maintain or improve overall health and psychosocial status Requirements One or more years of experience in wounds or a related field Current LPN/RN licensure in the state of Alabama Excellent communication, teaching, and leadership skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations What We Offer Opportunity to join a dynamic and compassionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care Collaborative and supportive work environment Professional growth and development opportunities If you are a motivated and dedicated professional looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, please apply to the Treatment Nurse position at Pine Hill Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. #J-18808-Ljbffr
