Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Allscripts/Eclipsys is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Hendrick Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Hendrick Medical Center.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Community hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests: - Candidates who are at least 50 miles from the facility may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Med-surg unit with post-op, ortho, diabetes, pneumonia, wound care, CBI, and urology cases; no telemetry monitoring or cardiovascular gtts.

Shift & Scheduling: - Call required: One shift per 6 week schedule. - 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule (Sat/Sun is a weekend shift).

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
