Job Summary And Qualifications Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Texas Nursing Practice Act, with emphasis on nursing process / outcomes for oncology patients with emphasis on blood cancer and disorders. What Qualifications You Will Need Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Effective 10/01/23, American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS required within six months of hire or transfer Effective 10/01/23, ONS Chemotherapy biotherapy certificate course required within 60 days of hire or transfer If hired after 6/1/12, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position. Strong communication skills in both oral and written format. Flexibility to intervene on a moment’s notice. Ability to problem-solve and seek assistance from team members when necessary.
