Commercial Sales Representative

Job Description

We are seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to join our team! You will help drive growth into new markets for the company in the Columbia Metro Area.

General Information

Mileage will be reimbursed upon submittal of monthly report (Maximum Amount Discussed Upon Hire)
Commission will be paid monthly, based on per unit sales
In Person Sales will be completed between hours of 9AM - 3PM. Should be available by phone from 8-9AM and 3-5PM
Will have once a week in person meeting at the company office for sales team reporting
Commissions are expected range between $10,000 - $20,000/Year

Responsibilities:

Present and sell company services to potential customers
Prospect and contact potential customers
Reach agreed upon sales targets and report metrics to manager
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
Set follow-up appointments for contract expirations

Qualifications:

Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
Familiarity with CRM platforms
Ability to build rapport with clients
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented

NewSouth Waste has been in the waste collection business for 30 years in Columbia and surrounding markets. It prides itself on providing quality service to its customers and maintaining a healthy image in the market. We are now looking to grow into new service markets in Columbia, that will require a more robust sales force.
