Southern Pine Lumber is stepping into its next stage of growth. We’re adding Regional Managers, one for each of three regions, and we need strong leaders to head them up: Northeast Florida, Southeast Florida, and West Coast Florida.

Regions

\n

\n
• Southeast Florida: St. Lucie County to Key West (based in West Palm Beach or surrounding areas)
\n
• Northeast Florida: Indian River County to Nassau County, plus the Orlando area (based in Rockledge or surrounding areas)
\n
• West Coast Florida: Pasco County to Collier County (based in Sarasota or surrounding areas)
\n

What You’ll Do

\n

\n
• Be accountable for the performance of every yard in your region
\n
• Develop and help yard managers in your region. Coach them, back them up, and keep the bar high
\n
• Keep daily operations and sales running strong across your region
\n
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, and HR issues across your region
\n
• Keep receivables and customer accounts on track
\n
• Build real relationships with the contractors and builders in your region
\n
• Make regular visits to locations and customers across your region
\n
• Report to upper management
\n

You’re a hands-on leader who’s as comfortable in the yard as in a meeting. Contractors and builders trust you. You develop yard managers instead of micromanaging them, and you like being on the road. You see a region as something to grow, not just manage. This is a brand-new role, so you’re comfortable building the playbook as you go.

Requirements

\n

\n
• Minimum 5 years of management experience
\n
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building materials or a related industry
\n
• Valid driver’s license
\n
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
\n
