As a Summer 2027 Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a professional business environment while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience within our Secure Supply Chain team. Throughout the internship, you will work on real business initiatives, collaborate with team members and leaders, develop professional skills, and contribute to projects that support Cencora's purpose of creating healthier futures. Start Date: June 7, 2027 End Date: August 13, 2027 Location: Conshohocken, Pennsylvania This internship is designed for students who are curious, motivated, and eager to learn while making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Under the general supervision of the Manufacturer Operations and Secure Supply Chain leadership, this role involves analyzing and enhancing the effectiveness of current supply chain processes related to supply chain activities. The objective is to ensure alignment between manufacturer performance and Cencora's goals. This position also recommends and contributes to the development of improved strategies aimed at optimizing margins through these initiatives. Responsibilities Facilitates the development of solutions that tackle a range of tactical challenges faced by Cencora in managing data compliance and quality. This includes ensuring adherence to regulations, fulfilling supplier agreements, and achieving departmental business objectives Collaborates closely with suppliers and manufacturers to enhance product quality and effectively address any issues related to product shipments Serves as an internal consultant to various supply chain departments, supporting projects aimed at enhancing buy-side profits, boosting inventory productivity, and improving overall team effectiveness Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners. Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and internship program activities. Present project outcomes, recommendations, or key learnings at the conclusion of the internship. Education & Experience Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Rising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship preferred Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future. Skills & Knowledge Highly motivated self-starter with a strong desire to learn. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated leadership through academic, extracurricular, volunteer, or work experiences. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective organizational and time-management skills. Ability to receive feedback and adapt in a dynamic work environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
