TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87109!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years preferred License: Must possess an active nursing license Certifications: ACLS; AWHONN Intermediate; BLS; NRP (pending certifications are acceptable) Must-Have: - Previous charge experience: 2 years - Ability to manage patient ratios of 2 - Experience with charting systems Description: This position is for Labor and Delivery nurses on day shifts. Options for 36 or 48 hours per week are available. First-time travelers are welcome. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred. Candidates must have the required certifications. Weekend requirements include 4 to 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks. Scrubs will be provided by the facility. Nurses will be responsible for antepartum and postpartum care. You will assist with high-risk deliveries and manage laboring patients. Experience with external fetal monitoring is essential. You will maintain central lines and administer medications such as anticoagulants and insulin. Professional collaboration is necessary with interdisciplinary support teams. Patients will include neonates and adults. You will be expected to float to similar units based on facility needs. A brief orientation will be provided upon arrival. All compliance requirements must be fulfilled prior to starting the position.
