Emergency Medical Technician - EMT

Job Summary

New EMT Starting Rates!! EMTs are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus, plus a $2/hour transport premium for day shifts and a $2/hour shift differential for nights.

Job Duties

• Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary care.

• Provide patients with emergency care by utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment.

• Provide basic life support and gather patient data.

• Document patient information, condition, and treatment.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and perform all care with respect for patient rights.

• Transport patients in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.

• Operate and drive ambulance in conjunction with applicable safety policies and laws.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required)

Experience

Certification(s) and License(s)

Certified Emergency Medical Technician - State of Pennsylvania; Valid Driver's License - Default Issuing Body; Emergency Medical Services Vehicle Operator - Default Issuing Body; Certified Sterile Processing Technician within 18 months - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
