Grounds Maintenance

Position Grounds Maintenance. $19.20/hour. Job Overview We are seeking to fill Grounds Maintenance position(s) in our Toll and Maintenance Departments. This position requires you to work in both Maintenance and Toll/Traffic Departments at the Rainbow, Whirlpool or Lewiston‑Queenston Bridges. Requirements High School Diploma Two years general maintenance experience preferred, but not required Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel) Must possess a clean, valid driver’s license Pre‑employment physical examination, drug and alcohol testing and background check required Duties Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, waxing, dusting, emptying wastepaper baskets, etc. Open availability to work: days, afternoons, midnight shifts 7 days a week Assist in performing basic maintenance and preventative maintenance Perform basic landscaping work including grass cutting, trimming, planting, pruning and weeding, etc. Classify, record and collect proper tolls Monitor traffic flows and stop, hold or redirect direct vehicles as required Liaise with Customs and other authorities as needed Working Conditions Required to work indoors, outdoors and from heights; required to work underneath bridge deck and on aerial lifts #J-18808-Ljbffr
