Position Summary:

 

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining manufacturing equipment in a safe, reliable, and productive operating condition. This position troubleshoots, monitors, adjusts, repairs, installs, and services equipment and machinery throughout the facility. 

 

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with electrical motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
• Repair, install, adjust, modify, and service all equipment.
• Evaluate equipment reliability and take actions to improve performance.
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and all other company safety requirements. 
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Skilled and experienced in the areas of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, basic welding, and Rigging.
• Ability to use a programmable logic controller (PLC) for troubleshooting purposes.
• Complete work orders in a safe manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Willingness and ability to learn AAE’s manufacturing processes.

  Working Environment:

• Comfortable in a manufacturing environment. 
• Ability to lift and move equipment or parts that weigh up to 50 pounds.
