Job Title: Psychiatrist (Part-Time)
Location: Lucasville, OH 45699
Duration: 12 Months to Long-Term
Schedule: 07:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 20 Hours/Week

• Searching for a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide on-site services on a part-time basis (16-20 hours/week) to the male incarcerated population. 
• Schedule is flexible based on needs of facility, but core hours are typically between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. 
• Selected psychiatrist will meet with 12-16 patients per 8-hour shift. 
• Caseload is 75-100 patients. 
• Assignment could lead to permanent hire.

• Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system
• Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing
• Managing medication
• Making referrals for specialized care or treatment
• Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, Client policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards
• Participating in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews
• Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed

• Ohio Medical License.
• Healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification.
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification.
