Maintenance Technician II

Improve the productivity, quality, and margins of the SMC Santa Rosa manufacturing facility through maintenance and improvement of production equipment and facilities.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of injection molding and auxiliary support equipment, including but not limited to:
• Arburg, Sodick, Demag Molding Machines
• Glycol Chillers
• Multi-axis Industrial Robots
• Auxiliary Systems (Water, Air)
• Install and qualify above equipment as necessary
• Support and improve the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program
• Continuing education to update and expand skill set
• Document custom equipment and modifications
• Specify and order replacement components to maintain spare parts inventory
• Communicate with multiple departments in a professional, positive, team-oriented manner
• Operate a personal computer, utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Email, Teams, IQMS CMMS)

• Other duties as assigned.
• Project completion as assigned
• Adaptability/Maintenance Team supportive
• Actively support 6S effort of organization, cleanliness upkeep of Maintenance shop and facility
• Actively carry an at-work only cell phone for departmental communication

Hourly Range: $34.62 - $43.19
