Automotive Technician - B & E Auto Repair Ready to put your diagnostic and mechanical skills to work in a shop that values quality, expertise, and hands-on problem solving? B&E Auto Repair is looking for a full-time Automotive Technician to join our team in Volga, SD. Whether you're tackling engine replacements, transfer case repairs, brake system work, or complex diagnostics, you'll play a critical role in keeping our customers safely on the road while working on a wide variety of vehicle makes and models. What You'll Do Heavy Mechanical Work: Perform fullengine replacementsand specializedtransfer case work andrepair automotive exhaust systems. Vehicle Diagnostics: Use aSnap-on diagnostic machineto accurately troubleshoot, identify, and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues. Brake System Repairs: Replace brake pads, rotors, and calipers. Repair or replace brake lines as needed. Engine Tune-Ups: Perform basic engine tune-ups, including replacing spark plugs and ignition coils. Routine Maintenance: Perform standard maintenance services including oil changes, fluid flushes, and tire rotations. Quality Control: Inspect vehicles carefully to ensure all repairs are completed safely and correctly. Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic. Experience in major component replacement is preferred, but any experience can apply. Strong proficiency with Snap-on diagnostic tools and equipment. Solid understanding of automotive systems, specifically engines, drivetrains (transfer cases), and brakes. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced garage environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Having your own tools is a plus, but it is not required . Benefits & Compensation Pay: $15.00 - $45.00 / hour starting wage (Final pay structure is dependent on qualifications and can be set up as hourly or commission).
