Emergency Department Registered Nurse

7 PM to 7 AM, Rotating Weekends

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, responding to emergencies, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in the emergency department.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on medical needs.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in delivering optimal patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with procedures such as intubation and central line placement.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech Expanse EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Texas.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications required.
• Emergency response and patient experience skills are a must.
• TNCC certification preferred.
