Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our private dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to maintaining a positive patient experience. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and dental surgery Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Perform medical imaging tasks, including taking X-rays as directed by the dentist. Manage patient records and assist with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure all dental instruments are sterilized and organized for use. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support. Skills Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, particularly X-ray procedures. Experience in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry practices is preferred. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control measures. Familiarity with dental systems and software for managing patient records. Ability to assist in various dental procedures effectively. Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus, showcasing strong communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
