Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | 13 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio across a 36-bed unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients during day shift hours
• Document patient information and care accurately using the MEDHOST EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols including no call, no floating, and no mandatory 48-hour shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License (must be valid for practice in Texas)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Medical Surgical experience required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with MEDHOST EMR system
