Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time Contract Location: San Francisco, CA Pay Rate: $65–$70/hour Schedule: 12-Hour Day Shifts Employment Type: Full-Time Contract Start Date: ASAP Position Overview A leading academic medical center in San Francisco is seeking experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurses (RNs) for a full-time contract opportunity. This role supports a high-acuity cardiac program with a strong focus on interventional cardiology and structural heart procedures. The ideal candidate brings advanced clinical experience in the cardiac cath lab setting and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in the cardiac catheterization lab and EP setting Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including structural heart cases and TAVR Deliver comprehensive pre- and post-procedural patient care Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring hemodynamic stability and rapid response to changes Administer medications, moderate sedation, and cardiac-related therapies as appropriate Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards Float to other units and affiliated facilities as needed Requirements Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license (required) AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cardiac Cath/Interventional Cardiology (required) Hands-on experience with Structural Heart procedures and TAVR (required) Experience in Cath Lab, Electrophysiology (EP), and pre/post procedural care Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in high-acuity environments Flexibility to float across multiple facilities within the health system Why This Role Competitive hourly compensation at $65–$70/hour Exposure to advanced cardiac procedures and cutting-edge technology Consistent full-time day schedule Opportunity to work within a top-tier academic healthcare environment Apply Today If you’re an experienced Cath Lab RN looking to take on a high-impact role in a premier clinical setting, apply today to be considered for immediate opportunities.
