Senior Accountant – Currency Global Process Owner Position Overview: The Senior Accountant will be the global process owner for CTA and will also support the accounting for EGL and hedging. This role analyzes, classifies, and reviews complex accounting transactions and interrelationships, examines financial statements and documents for conformance with accounting requirements and principles, and ensures internal controls are in place and operating effectively in accordance with company standards and government regulations. The Senior Accountant may initiate and lead special projects for process improvements and will interact with the External Reporting Group, Accounting Policy, Regional Accounting Teams, Treasury/Credit, Internal Audit, and PwC on a routine basis. What You’ll Do CTA Global Process Owner and owner of the CTA process in SAP systems. Analysis of the company’s monthly CTA activity, including managing regional team members and reviewing their LE monthly translation support package submissions. Perform an overall review of the company’s CTA accounts and provide details of key components to leadership monthly. Perform an overall review of the EGL schedule and post EGL jobs in SAP. Prepare monthly journal entries for Treasury FX hedge accounting. Prepare footnotes for quarterly and annual SEC filings. Prepare account reconciliations in compliance with the global account reconciliation policy to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. Assist with special projects and ad hoc BPC analysis as needed. Work with various accounting and reporting systems to accomplish tasks and organize data for effective presentation. Lead and drive continuous improvement in the consolidation process. What Skills You Need Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA preferred. Position requires strong analytical skills, ability to multi‑task and proficiency in the use of systems, including Analysis for Office BPC, SAP and Windows Office. Candidate must be self‑managed and self‑motivated as well as effectively organize time and efforts to meet deadlines. Flexible work schedule, as nights/weekends are needed during certain busy closing workdays. Communication skills. Results oriented. No visa sponsorship is available for this position.
