Project Manager - Supplier Quality

Carrier in Palm Beach Gardens is seeking an expert project manager to take responsibility for Supplier Quality & Development initiatives on a global scale. About this role As a Project Manager in Supplier Quality , you will play a critical role in ensuring that our suppliers meet and exceed our quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive supplier development, continuous improvements, and quality assurance initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of quality management, project management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. This is an onsite role in Palm Beach Gardens. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage plans, guidelines, policies, and processes, to ensure the achievement of quality targets Implementation of organization projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving Oversee quality improvement processes to ensure ongoing reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes Collect and analyze quality information from multiple sources to develop long-term quality strategies and programs Provide production process analyses, ensure quality standards are met, and make recommendations for quality improvement Develop and manage processes, standards, and plans for implementing minimum standards Utilize tools and methods to ensure the effectiveness of existing quality processes and sustain quality performance improvements Direct processes or standards in support of the Carrier Supplier Gold program to ensure healthy, continuous improvement and sustainability Provide expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, government regulations, and agency guidelines to ensure compliance with external standards Plan and execute programmatic quality requirements Lead FOCUS supplier initiatives Manage reviews of procedures and metrics that impact supplier quality throughout the organization, ensure compliance with internal standards Basic Qualifications Bachelor in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics 10 years plus of experience in quality, manufacturing, or supply chain US Citizen Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree Understand quality management systems and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO standards). Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Analytical and problem-solving abilities English communication and interpersonal skills Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Relevant certifications (i.e., ASQ Certified Quality Professional) #J-18808-Ljbffr Carrier
