Position Overview The Cancer and Blood Disease Institute at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles together with the Division of Hematology‑Oncology at the Keck School of Medicine are recruiting a Clinical Investigator specializing in hematologic malignancies to serve as Associate Director of the Leukemia/Lymphoma Program. The role requires leadership of clinical and research activities in pediatric hematologic malignancies, partnering with the Program Director, and providing patient care, developing and conducting clinical trials, and advancing the program. Responsibilities Partner with the Leukemia/Lymphoma Program Director for program oversight. Provide patient care in pediatric hematologic malignancies. Develop, design, and lead clinical trials and study protocols. Advance clinical research and translate bench‑to‑bedside discoveries. Collaborate with the CBDI’s Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program. Qualifications Minimum 2 years as an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Hematology‑Oncology with a focus on hematologic malignancies. Desire to become a leader in clinical trial development. Academic appointment available at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, commensurate with experience. Strong administrative, clinical, research, and financial support will be provided. Program Highlights One of the largest programs in the nation with ~120 new patients yearly. Accreditations and rankings including CHLA #8 and CBDI #14 as listed by U.S. News & World Report (2022‑23). Salary The annual base salary range is $116,505 to $417,709.
