Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Unit Details: Responsibilities include IV starts/management, medication administration, monitoring vitals and patient responses, and patient education. Adult and geriatric patient population. Mixed med-surg/PCU unit. Cares for general medicine patients, including opioid abuse, organ failure, changes in level of consciousness, behavior issues, and MRDD/developmental delay. Procedures include Foley catheter care, PICC, IV and IV antibiotics, chest tubes, bedside paracentesis, PD, and LP.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekdays and some weekends.

Floating Requirements: Will float to lower acuity units and different units within the OSU organization as needed.

Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days
