Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bilingual Therapies is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Special Education Coordinator to join our team in Barre, VT for the 2026–27 school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to serve as a case coordinator at the high school level, working within a dyad model alongside an in-person special educator to drive student success.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Special Education Case Coordinator for high school students
• Oversee and ensure compliance of IEPs and special education processes
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student outcomes
• Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings and evaluations
• Monitor student progress and ensure accurate documentation
• Support staff with guidance on best practices and compliance

What We’re Looking For

• Must meet Vermont state requirements for Special Education coordination
• Experience working at the secondary (high school) level preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and compliance
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• A team-oriented professional committed to student success
