Overview Produce Associate position at Sam's Club . Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr . Responsibilities Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; be flexible to business needs; track goods; maintain in-stock levels; and control shrinkage in a timely manner. Be an Expert: Understand quality processes for produce; prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products to established standards; maintain product safety; follow sanitation guidelines; adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage usage. Be an Owner: Drive performance of the area; utilize digital tools; manage stock with perpetual inventory; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; assist customers per company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: Value member experience in the department; model high quality service and product standards; demonstrate energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; apply Open Door Policy in business processes. Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; set priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; identify opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Eligible to work in the United States. Ability to complete trainings and assessments as required.
