Senior Manager, Data Analytics Implementation

We have a Sr. Manager, Data Analytics Implementation position.

Expected Start Date: 10/1/2026

End Date: 01/30/27 (likelihood of extension)

Location: On-site 4 days per week- Academy Office- Katy TX- MUST BE ON-SITE

Interview Process (including any client interviews): 2-3 rounds- one internal and one client

Must Have Skills:

• Lead AEP-Centric Initiatives: Drive initiatives focused on the implementation, customization, and automation of data collection processes within the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). Develop comprehensive measurement strategies to ensure data collection aligns with client priorities, emphasizing seamless integration across AEP services and ensuring smooth data flow between systems.
• Expertise in AEP and Analytics Implementation: Possess extensive experience in the full lifecycle of analytics implementation across digital platforms, particularly in environments with complex ecosystems (e.g., multiple sites/apps, hundreds of custom tags, diverse implementation techniques). Proficiency with Adobe Experience Platform, including RTCDP, CJA and AJO, is essential.
• CJA Implementation Expertise: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Adobe Experience Platform's Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), from initial planning and design to deployment and post-implementation support. Configure and customize CJA based on business needs, ensuring that the solution aligns with client's business goals and objectives. Provide expertise in journey analytics, including path analysis and cohort analysis, to uncover actionable insights from customer behavior.
• Hands-On AEP Integration and Data Collection: Demonstrated experience in working with Adobe Data Collection and integration with AEP using Web & Mobile SDKs. Expertise with AEP schemas, datasets, identity management, and event-driven data layers (EDDL) is highly preferred. Integrate data from various sources (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, third-party systems) into Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) for use in CJA
• Technical Leadership in AEP and Analytics: Serve as a hands-on leader within the technical analytics team, focusing on data framework implementations using AEP, Adobe Target, Adobe Data Collection, and Adobe Mobile SDK.
• Technical Tagging and SDR Development: Design, develop, and implement technical tagging requirements for web, mobile, and app platforms within AEP. Translate Solution Design Requirements (SDR) into precise script code for various digital platforms.
• Code Development and Testing: Develop and perform code modifications, testing, and deployment as needed, ensuring robust and accurate data collection processes within AEP.
• Enhance Digital Data Layers: Enhance requirements for digital data layers, including event-based data like ACDL, within the company's Tag Management solutions such as Adobe Data Collection, Ensighten, or Tealium.
• Custom Scripting for Advanced Tracking: Write custom scripts in JavaScript, jQuery, or other relevant coding languages within web environments and tag management tools to accommodate specialized tracking needs.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Create and maintain JavaScript tags and plugins for Adobe Analytics within AEP. Troubleshoot scripting issues across digital platforms using browser tools like the console and other debugging utilities.
• Lead QA and Deployment: Lead QA and deployment processes, particularly within Agile frameworks. Experience with web analytics tools like AEP debugger and debugging tools such as Charles, or WASP is valuable.

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with implementing AEP-RTCDP (Adobe Experience Platform Realtime CDP)
• Experience with implementing AEP-AJO (Adobe Experience Platform Adobe Journey Optimizer)
• Develop, design, and implement scripting for A/B optimization/experimentation using Adobe Target
• Configuring and setting up BI dashboards (Tableau / Looker / Power BI)
• Experience with Google Big Query and creating data ingestion pipelines from multiple online and offline sources
• Experience working with Adobe IO (using APIs to connect to Adobe suite of products programmatically like AEP) through Web UI's (like Swagger) or API clients like Postman

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related course of study required or equivalent work experience. Related Master's Degree a plus
• 10+ years working in analytics, including experience working with tag management systems implementing advertising and tracking pixels, 4+ years implementing AEP and it's services like CJA, AJO or RTCDP, 1+ year managing a team of analysts / developers
• Excellent understanding of JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, JSON, and DOM manipulation, strong tag management skills, excellent understanding of cloud-based information systems, solid debugging and troubleshooting skills, strong understanding of marketing technology (Martech) landscape, experience leveraging APIs for reporting automation. Foundational Knowledge of Google Big Query, Node.js, CSS, Python, Domo, machine learning concepts.
